Re:Kids' Yarn Dying Project - 2007/06/16 10:19 Kool Aid will not dye any kind of cellulose type fiber like cotton well. For that you need a different type of dye.

Kool Aid will dye, wool, hair, silk, soy silk, (anything cut off of any animal) but not any plant based fibers like bamboo or cotton.

I read that soy silk will dye with koolaid, but I haven
t tried it yet.
If you fall off, get back on and try again.
